When I was growing up, we made May Baskets every year and delivered them to friends first thing in the morning. It’s a spring tradition in many northern states, especially Iowa where I lived. We will fill up these May baskets with little “happies” like leftover Halloween candy or some stickers. It doesn’t matter what you put in the May Baskets, but when you deliver them you have to take care not to get caught or you get kissed! (Although in quarantine you’ll have to settle for an air kiss.)
